Travon Free is an actor/stand up comedian from Compton California who is also contributing writer to The Urban Daily, and has been seen on such shows as Chelsea Lately, Tosh.0, and the hit web series The Gentlemen’s Rant as well as various commercials. He has also been a featuring act for comedy mentor and friend Russell Peters on multiple occasions. He is currently a writer for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
He was also high school team mates with New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler who plays in Madison Square Garden on avenue up from where he lives but has yet to cross paths with Mr. Chandler. Even though they played two years together, he often wonders if he will even remember him. And if he’s said too much in this paragraph.

Your wit, and pathos and candor are just a breath of fresh air and reality in this insane political season. Your letter to newt was so spot on, it made me shudder.
